Floral design does not begin with technique alone. A work takes shape through the close observation of nature, an understanding of form and balance, and a consideration of how flowers exist within a space.
Berlin-based florist Carolin Ruggaber translates the order and freedom found in nature into a distinctive sculptural language. She is widely regarded as one of the leading voices in contemporary European floral design.
Rather than simply recreating a finished work, participants will explore how to understand form, construct structure, and interpret natural materials through their own perspective. Through a deeper study of natural movement, asymmetrical balance, negative space, tension, and the relationship between flowers and their surroundings, participants will expand their individual design language.
Taking place in Seoul this November, the Saison Fleurie Masterclass will feature two programmes: One-Day Masterclass: ON FLORAL LANGUAGE and Two-Day Masterclass: DEEP IMMERSION INTO CONTEMPORARY FLORAL PRACTICE.

‘One-Day Masterclass’에서 다룬 디자인 사고를 한 단계 확장합니다. 형태와 구조, 그리고 공간 안에서의 컨템포러리 플로럴 디자인을 심도 있게 탐구합니다.
첫째 날에는 3~4명이 팀을 이뤄 하나의 플로럴 스컬프처를 제작합니다. 비대칭성과 구조적인 플로럴 컴포지션을 중심으로 다양한 비례, 소재의 조합, 네거티브 스페이스를 연구해 봅니다.
둘째 날에는 공간과 건축으로 시선을 확장합니다. CARO의 엔지니어 Florian이 골조와 서스펜션 시스템, 하중과 안정성(Statics)에 대한 기초를 소개하며, 이를 바탕으로 전체 참가자가 함께 하나의 대형 플로럴 인스톨레이션을 완성합니다.

Building on the design principles introduced in the One-day Masterclass, this Two-day programme offers a deeper exploration of contemporary floral design through form, structure, and space.
On the first day, participants will work in teams of three or four to create a floral sculpture. Focusing on asymmetry and structural composition, they will explore proportion, material combinations, and the use of ‘negative space’.
On the second day, the focus expands to architecture and spatial design. Florian, CARO’s engineer, will introduce the fundamentals of structural frameworks, suspension systems, load, and stability. Drawing on these principles, the entire group will collaborate on a large-scale floral installation.
Participants will experience each stage of the installation process and gain a closer understanding of how floral structures interact with their surrounding space.
More than an opportunity to learn new techniques, this masterclass is designed to broaden participants’ visual and conceptual approach and support the development of a floral language of their own.

Option 2. International Bank Transfer
If you prefer to pay by international bank transfer (with or without Wise), we will provide our receiving bank account details in USD, EUR, GBP, or JPY after we receive your registration form.
Payment Confirmation
- Please use your full name as the payment reference.
- Any bank transfer fees or intermediary bank charges are the responsibility of the sender.
- Your registration will be confirmed once both your registration form and payment have been received.
- After completing your payment, please email your proof of payment to workshop@saisonfleurie.com
- Please note that registrations are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once confirmed. However, registration may be transferred to another participant. Please review your registration carefully before submitting.
